This Privacy Policy applies to all information collected through our application, TaskStamp (the “App”).

1. Information We Collect

TaskStamp requires certain permissions to function correctly. All core processing is done locally on your device. We request access to the following:

• Camera: We request access to your device’s camera to allow you to capture photos within the App. We do not record or transmit your camera feed to any external servers.
• Photo Library: We request access to your photo library to save the photos you capture with the App, and to allow you to select existing photos if you choose to use them. Your photos remain on your device and are not uploaded to our servers.
• Location Data: We request access to your location data (GPS coordinates) to embed accurate location information, such as coordinates and addresses, directly into the watermarks on your photos. This data is processed locally and is only attached to the photos you choose to take.
• Analytics & Usage Data: We use Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage data (such as feature interactions, buttons tapped, and performance metrics) to help us improve app stability and user experience. This data is non-personal, does not contain your photos or location logs, and is never linked to your personal identity.

2. How We Use Your Information

The information requested is used solely to provide the core functionality of the App:

• Capturing photos with watermarks.
• Embedding accurate timestamp and location data into your images.
• Saving the final images to your device.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information, photos, or location data to third parties.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

TaskStamp offers premium features through auto-renewing subscriptions and in-app purchases. We use Apple’s native StoreKit framework to manage these transactions.

• We do not process, collect, or store your credit card information or purchase history.
• All payment processing and subscription validation is handled securely and entirely by Apple.
• Because we do not have external servers, your subscription status is validated locally on your device through your Apple ID. We do not collect or transmit any purchase identifiers.
